Tour Questions:

Q.What are the rules of play?

A.We will be using the NDL style of play and all rules and regulations can be found on the NDL site, www.TheNDL.com under the rules tab.

Q.Do we need uniforms?

A.We are relaxing the Tour uniform guideline.** All team members must simply wear the same color t-shirts. Sweatbands may be worn, but hats and bandannas will not be allowed.

**Important! Should you decide to attend the Dodgeball World Championship, you will be required to follow the stricter Official NDL Uniform Guidelines PDF and as noted in the Official NDL Rule Book. Please keep this in mind if you choose to order custom uniforms.

Q.What type of balls will we use?

A.The NDL plays with red rubber playground balls. The Stinger divisions use four 8.5" blockers™ and two 5" stingers™. The Big Ball or 8.5 divisions use six 8.5" balls.

Q.Can I be under 18, and play in the adult division?

A.Yes you are able to play in the adult division if you are under 18 years of age. You are not able to play down in age divisions you can only play up.

Q.What division do I enter if I have all different aged players?

A.You are only able to play up in divisions. If you have a mixture of ages, you must enter in the division of the oldest member. You are not allowed to enter the younger division.

Professional Tryouts:

Q.What are the professional tryouts going to entail?

A.The NDL will be watching those that are interested throughout the day. At the end of the tournament, there will be a skill set and some scrimmage play. They will notify those that they feel have the talent and attitude to be a part of the NDL.

Q.If I get selected what does that mean?

A.This means that you have made it through the first round of the tryout process. In order to participate on a NDL professional team, you will need to be available for the final tryouts at the Dodgeball World Championship in Las Vegas for the final tryouts. If you are selected at the tour stop as a finalist, you will receive a free entry into the Dodgeball World Championship and Convention to complete the tryout process.

Q.What if I cannot make it to the Dodgeball World Championship?

A.If you are not able to make it to the Dodgeball World Championship we ask that you do not tryout. You will need to be available that weekend in order to play.
